We are AmberScript, a speech-recognition company in Amsterdam. We are specialized in developing high-accuracy speech recognition that allows our clients to transform large volumes of audio and video into text and subtitles. Using our self-developed speech-to-text engines, we enable large corporates, governments and universities to create subtitles and captions on a large scale. We developed a platform that uses AI to disrupt the traditional market of transcription and subtitling by faster delivery speed, higher quality and cheaper prices. This helps to make content accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing and improves thousands of lives across Europe. Our product is being used by thousands of deaf and hard-hearing, journalists, scientists, students, doctors and lawyers.
About the job
We are growing rapidly. We are looking for a marketer that can channel that growth and help us to target the right segments, promote our product and accelerate our customer acquisition and conversion. You will be taking full ownership of the marketing and branding strategy and experience. Through rapid experimentation, you will optimize and personalize the customer journeys, conversion funnel and find the product-market fit in the multiple countries that we’re active in. Activities:
- Taking full ownership of the marketing strategy
- Creating a unique brand experience and positioning
- Setting up personalized customer journeys for our different persona’s
- Optimizing the AARRR funnel based on the insights you pull from tools like google analytics, mixpanel, hotjar, intercom
- Constantly testing new ideas and iterate on the results
- Together with a team of experts optimizing the Acquisitions channels like Facebook, AdWords, Organic.
Being an active member of the core leadership group and shape the company strategy, particularly the product & channeling strategy. Understanding customer requirements and dependencies, prioritizing what to build, sell and market Mentor and scaleup the marketing team (including recruitment, retention and team performance management)

Preferably you fit the following profile:
- College level (hbo or wo level in the Netherlands)
- You have 2+ years of marketing experience, with an emphasis on online (SEO, SAO, SEM)
- Able to map customer journeys and customer personas
- A proven track record regarding growth results/impact
- Experienced with tools similar to Google Analytics, Tag manager, Hotjar, Mailchimp, Mixpanel
- You are passionate about growth hacking and data-driven marketing
- You have a strong motivation to drive impact
- You are proactive, good in communicating in English and a fast learner
- You are able to work and live in Amsterdam (or willing to move)
