About Hagelswag We believe the Dutch tradition of eating chocolate for breakfast is a tradition worth sharing. That’s why we created Hagelswag: a high quality chocolate to add some swag to your bread, granola, pancakes, oatmeal and yoghurt. People from over 50 countries world wide are already enjoying Hagelswag, from Brazil to Finland and from Australia to South-Korea. Hagelswag is made with large amounts of positivity. Not only are we part of a fair trade program, we also work with a sheltered workspace giving people with disabilities a chance to be part of the labour market. We feel responsibility for the people we work with, the same goes for the environment. That’s why we try to keep our waste to a minimum, do we use as little plastic as possible and do we encourage our customers to make use of our refill programs. Hagelswag was founded in 2016. We are now with a team of 5 people and based in a creative powerhouse in a former machine factory in Amsterdam-north.

About the job

Via our online B2C webshop we have seen great international interest in our product and after successfully grown our B2B business in the Netherlands, we will start expanding our international B2B business to both Germany and Belgium in 2019. We are therefore looking for an Account Manager that is driven to help us succeed in this international growth by obtaining new B2B clients and growing our business with our existing B2B clients.

Your experience?

  • Minimum HBO thinking
  • Minimum of 3 years experience
  • You’re a positive thinker
  • You have experience in B2B sales in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands
  • You have a network in Hotels, Retail and Giftshops.
  • Fluent in German, English and Dutch. French in a pré.
  • You have experience working independently and taking initiative
  • You will proactively make plans and set and manage your own goals
  • Affinity with chocolate is a pré
  • You are flexible and prepared to travel
  • You are enthusiastic and realistic about working in a start-up environment
