Member Events Program Manager at Soho House Amsterdam
Who we are… A collection of private members’ clubs for like-minded individuals, with currently 23 locations internationally and growing, including Barcelona, Berlin, Istanbul, London, Los Angeles, and New York. Amsterdam is our newest opening in the historic Bungehuis. We are connecting with the creative community in Amsterdam to bring all forms of artists together in a home-away-from-home, with a unique setting to work, connect, eat, drink & nap. Also offering a private cinema, fully serviced gym, sauna & steam as well as exclusive member event programming. We are extending our team and looking for new recruits to join our family that embody our ethos. We have opportunities across various departments, including Membership, Events, Food & Beverage, Hotel Operations, Heath & Well-being. As well as those candidates with previous experience in hospitality, we encourage like-minded creatives, artists, musicians, designers, and entrepreneurs to apply to join us.
About the job
- Curating a compelling, creative and diverse monthly event program that is appealing to our Local and Every House members, in keeping with the current composition of talks, live sessions, comedy nights, parties, workshops and other fitting formats.
- Staying informed of industry trends and opportunities to ensure the programming reflects Soho House creative and cutting-edge identity.
- Putting together the calendar’s promotional content and coordinate with Soho House editorial team to meet the monthly deadlines.
- Ensuring the event program is successfully promoted and communicated to members via our different platforms (print & digital)
- Ensuring online booking systems and protocols for events are closely managed and up to date.
- Ensuring that events are set up and executed properly together with the Member Event Coordinator and the operational departments. That includes covering events in the evening and on weekends on a regular basis as well as Public Holidays for special occasions like Halloween, NYE and other parties.
- Securing deals with talents and event partners and managing the member event budget
- Ensure programming efforts are supportive and complimentary to property goals
You will be working closely with the Head of Events Europe, Soho House Amsterdam General Manager, Membership, Club Operations and Marketing teams as well as UK-based Soho House editorial team.

- A great Amsterdam network within the creative scene
- An active interest in the arts & culture scene and a comprehensive knowledge of current and future trends, ensuring the events remain interesting for a focused, creative crowd.
- A significant working experience in cultural management, cultural media and event programming within the cultural industries.
- Excess of personality and highly-social character
- Solid organizational skills and ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment whilst being resilient and capable of managing stressful situations.
- Strong writing skills in English
