About the job
Do you think this could be you? To pursue and support our ambitious growth strategy and tell the unique story of Westwing, we are looking for a Junior PR Manager Netherlands/Belgium (m/f/d) for the Dutch and Belgian market located in Amsterdam. In this position, you will help shape our brand image by developing and implementing our PR strategy in close collaboration with the local Senior PR Manager and International PR Lead to proactively and creatively communicate the Westwing messages across all channels. Your responsibilities will be:
- You push our seasonal marketing communication plan with the local Senior PR Manager in direct collaboration with the International PR Teamlead including: strategy, goals, budget and tactics
- You leverage existing media relationships and cultivate a strong network with local media, tastemakers, opinion leaders and brands in the lifestyle/design and media industry
- You secure high-level placements in top tier print, online, TV and social media in the Netherlands and Belgium
- You maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and identify locally and internationally relevant PR topics and content for press
- You organize and execute possible events for our Westwing Collection
- You are taking care of daily screening, answering and processing of all incoming requests
- You monitor, analyse and communicate PR results on a weekly basis
- You evaluate and execute opportunities for partnerships and cooperations together with our International Cooperations Teamlead

You come with:
- You ideally have 1+ years of relevant work experience in a creative and dynamic environment, with focus on Lifestyle PR, Media or brand marketing.
- You have strong networking and interpersonal skills, strong stakeholder management skills
- You already gained experience in designing and developing strategic PR strategies including measuring and reporting
- You have strength in independent way of working and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on attitude
- You have a very good knowledge of Social Media and emerging channels
- You are fluent in Dutch & English, French is a plus
